“What a wonderful evening last night. You sounded great but more than that it was so moving. My dad used to sing Danny Boy so that got me going! Please tell all the Marchington singers well done!” Gill Scarlett

“The programme was balanced and appropriate for the occasion; the words were sung with meaning and conveyed the emotion of the occasion – I noticed several people wiping a tear. Congratulations to everyone for putting on a wonderful memorable event. It was an honour to be part of it!” Shirley Horton
